DAILY PROGRAM SNAPSHOT

Before describing a regular day at Weight Loss For Men Thailand, it should be understood that movement programs and nourishment plans vary widely from client to client depending on their physical condition, their weight loss and health goals and their age.

If we were to use a 45 year old client who weighed 150 kilograms, was reasonably physically capable and who had been with us for 6 weeks already, a typical day may be as follows:

8:30 am weigh in followed by light nourishment.

9:00-10:00 am indoor gym session involving treadmill cardio for 30 minutes followed by a light weights and movement session finished off with stretching.

10:00-10:30 am light pool session followed by steam room if he wants to.

12:00-1:00 pm BBQ lunch either up in the Star Hill lounge or at one of our selected restaurants.

1:00-2:00 pm walk back to Star Hill followed by optional pool session.

4:30-6:00 pm  is the chance to choose from a number of movement options ranging from light boxing training with experienced trainers to basketball, stretching or walking at the sports track. We encourage guys to do whatever they prefer.

Or some days we will get in the trucks and the guys will walk out in the forests and hills surrounding Chiang Mai and visit some beautiful temples or rivers. It varies from day to day.

Evenings are free to relax with whatever activities clients may want to do. They are welcome to get out into town if they want. Most guys are encouraged to take some nourishment before bed. Some do, some don’t, it is entirely up to them.

We suggest guys get to bed earlier rather than later because the hours spent sleeping BEFORE  midnight are worth double the hours after midnight.

PROGRAM ROUND UP AND FURTHER INFORMATION

First things first. When you arrive in Chiang Mai we are there to pick you up at the airport. We will take you directly to your accommodation and get you settled in.

Most guys need to recuperate and get adjusted to the new time zone and once you’ve done that we’ll lead you through an induction, weigh you in and input your statistics into our health tracking app and then it is time to get started.

Under our supervision you will immediately begin to eat a simple clean nutritious diet. There is no junk food and no soft drinks. This sounds like it may be difficult to do. It is not. At a cellular level overweight people are under-nourished which is why they are constantly hungry. You can technically be starving if you are overweight. If you eat healthy nutritious clean food it actually takes will power to overeat.

CONSISTANT GRADUAL WEIGHT LOSS

We will bring your weight down in a constant and consistent manner as you learn about what to eat and what not to eat (and drink). The new way of eating will become quite normal as time passes.

Moving Into Better Health

As your weight comes down, health complications as a result of being overweight obviously begin to diminish. Blood pressure, Type II Diabetes, sleep issues, joint pain and many other weight related problems dissipate. This middle period is where your new change of diet is beginning to become very embedded and natural and you are starting to understand how easy it will be to maintain as you move forward in life.

Exercise And Movement

As you drop weight you will become more physically able. Humans are designed to move and if we don’t, we die. But, you don’t need to perform as much movement as you think to move towards better health.

Keep Everything Simple

We will take you through a program of simple movement routines designed specifically for you that will ensure you are doing the things you need to do to stay in the best physical shape and health you possibly can.

These movement programs will not necessarily involve long boring gym workouts but will be things you can do anywhere and at anytime and you will learn how to increase or modify them to take into account changes and improvements in your own physical abilities and health.

Exercise Anyone Can Do Anywhere Anytime

Exercise is an important feature of any healthy life, but has to be approached with caution and respect. It is an excellent tool to help instigate fat burning but it can also be counterproductive in the initial stages of weight loss. Incorrectly applied physical exercise can easily cause physical injury in those unused to it plus it can also result in increased calorific requirement which is counterproductive in the early stage of weight loss. A delicate balance must be achieved. As weight and health levels improve, more vigorous exercise routines can be introduced.

A STRAIGHTFORWARD PLAN FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE

We will work together and create workout plans that you can take home with you and use anywhere. These will include gym work, pool work, cycling, walking and hiking as well as a variety of routines you can do in the office or worksite.

We’ll structure in such a way so they are simple fun and effective. It’s up to you how hard core you want to go, but the key here is to make everything as straightforward as possible so you can incorporate it into your life with ease.

  • One-on-one physical and movement sessions in gymnasium, swimming pool and outdoor environments.
  • All routines and sessions are personally tailored to your own physical abilities
  • Physical and movement sessions that change and evolve as your own health improves and the weight comes off
  • Ongoing targeted weight goals
  • Intensive and ongoing dietary evaluation and education
  • Frequent jungle, village, temple and general wilderness excursions (all optional of course)

Weight Loss For Men Thailand is ALL INCLUSIVE. What that means is that the cost of the program includes accommodation, all meals, creation and ongoing execution of physical training routines, all mentoring and workshops, all diet programs, all extra curricular sporting activities (Muay Thai training, boxing training, cardio training, yoga), air port pick up and transfers, jungle/village excursions, night/day market excursions, night time entertainment. Occasional cultural trips further afield may incur a fee to cover costs, but they are infrequent, and of course optional.
